RETURNS POLICY

EXTENDED CHRISTMAS RETURNS POLICY 2020

We’ve extended our usual limit for returns just for the festive season. Any gift purchased between 31st October 2020 and 24th December 2020 can be returned up until 31st January 2021 if it is unwanted or unsuitable. Please ensure you keep your emailed order confirmation so that the recipient is also able return the gift if needed.

RETURNING AN ITEM - CHANGED YOUR MIND

We hope you love your item but if for any reason you wish to return it please email us at hello@bertiesofbay.co.uk within 30 days of receiving it so we can approve your return.

When you receive a return confirmation email from us then please return your item, but not before.

Your item must be unworn and unused, in its 'original condition' with the product card attached.  Upon safe receipt and careful inspection, we will refund the cost of the item in full along with the postage cost you originally paid at the time of ordering. If you originally ordered more than one item, we will only refund the cost of the item you are returning. 

Please note we do not refund or cover the cost of return postage so we strongly recommend prior to placing your order that you contact us via web chat to ensure the size you are ordering will be the best option for you, as all we require are your height, chest and waist measurements.

 

When posting the item back to us, please note a postal service with tracking facility must be used as we will not take responsibility if the item is lost and the refund will not be issued.

Please be aware after 30 days we will not accept returns and therefore if you are purchasing an item of clothing or an accessory, we strongly recommend that you try it on upon receipt to ensure that it fits.

RETURNING AN ITEM - IT'S FAULTY

Even though we carefully inspect all of our garments and accessories prior to posting, if you find your item is faulty please email us at hello@bertiesofbay.co.uk with details of the fault, along with photographs within 30 days of receiving it so we can approve your return.

When you receive a return confirmation email from us then please return your item, but not before.

Upon safe receipt and careful inspection we will post out a replacement item (current item in stock), or refund the cost of the item in full along with the postage cost you originally paid at time of order. If you originally ordered more than one item we will refund you only the cost of the item you are returning. 

After 30 days we will repair or replace the item in accordance with the terms of the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF OUR POLICY

  • The definition 'original condition' means item is in original packaging with product card attached, item hasn't been worn or used, item is without make up or other marks and can be resold at full retail price 

  • Unless faulty, this is within 30 days of receiving your item

  • Please provide your original order number so we can locate your details as we will only refund back to the original payment facility used to make the purchase.

  • For online purchases we will refund the full price of the item plus cost of postage paid on original order unless there are other items also purchased on the order

  • The postage cost of returning an item will not be refunded

  • Please note if you don’t have proof of purchase, we are unable to process a refund, so please keep your original emailed order confirmation or shop receipt.
